MACPool will close for major maintenance and refurbishment on Monday 23 June and will reopen on Saturday 28 June.

During this time we’ll be replacing the media within the pool’s 17-year old sand filter – a critical piece of equipment which makes sure we maintain our exceptional water quality. We’ll also be cleaning and replacing the balance tank – another behind-the-scenes piece of kit that helps make sure water levels in the pool are always correct.

We’ll also be refreshing the changing area and changing rooms. So when we reopen on Saturday 28 June there’ll be changes you can see straight away – and some improvements you’ll notice when you step in the water.
