Fiona Frier has won a year’s membership at MacPool in return for completing our recent questionnaire. We asked consultancy firm Ekos to find out what facilities people would like to see at the pool and they designed a survey whose results will help us decide how best to make any future changes and improvements. The report from Ekos is expected later in the year. Meanwhile Fiona, who works as a guided self-help worker with Argyll Voluntary Action will be making the most of her membership. She explains:

“In my job I’m very aware of how important regular exercise is to maintain good health and wellbeing so I’m delighted to have won this prize. I’m really pleased to see the pool undergo this process of improvement to ensure its survival, it’s a fantastic community asset.”
