Lifeguards Kyle Doul, Robbie McDougall and Alexis Stewart have signed up with the Sports Academy of Scotland to study for an SVQ Level 3 in Leisure Management as part of a modern apprenticeship scheme.

Kyle, Robbie and Alexis will receive on-the-job training while they are working at the pool, as well as getting time to study.   Stuart Owen, manager, is pleased they are adding to their lifeguard qualifications.   “Our lifeguards play an essential role keeping the pool safe and clean, but there’s more to learn about managing a facility like a swimming pool. Kyle, Robbie and Alexis are keen to learn and we’re happy to support them as they develops their skills.”
