MACPool is now 17 years old and it’s time for us to make some big decisions about what’s next so we can make sure the pool and facilities are in good shape for the next 17 years and beyond. Some of our fixtures and fittings are coming to the end of their life and the pool building needs some TLC. So now is the perfect time to think big to make sure the pool continues as a valuable community resource.

We’ve already held a community meeting and more than 30 people turned up to share their ideas. Now we want to hear from you. What’s your suggestion for building on the pool’s success? This really is the very first step in pulling together new ideas and it’s important we make sure we’re providing facilities at the pool that the community needs.

Suggestions from meeting attendees included extending the pool, installing a steam and sauna room, adding a viewing gallery, improving showers and changing rooms and offering easier access to the water for less confident pool users.
